Celecoxib 200mg
■ Indication
Relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Management of acute pain (AP) in adults. Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea (PD).
■ Dosage & Administration
Osteoarthritis (OA): 200mg qd or 100mg bid
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA): 100-200mg bid
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS):
- Usual: 200mg qd or 100mg bid
- Titrate: May increase to 400mg/day if no effect is observed after 6 weeks;
- consider alternative treatment if no effect is observed after 6 weeks on 400mg/day
Acute pain (AP) and Primary Dysmenorrhea(PD):
- Initial: 400mg initially, then 200mg if needed on 1st day
- Maintenance: 200mg bid prn on subsequent days
