Indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus whom adequate to combination of therapies of dapagliflozin and metformin.
■ Dosage & Administration
Dosage should be determined individually based on each patient’s current therapy, efficacy, and tolerability not excessing maximum daily dose of dapagliflozin 10mg, sustained-release metformin 2000mg. This drug is usually administered once a daily with dinner, and the dose is adjusted in stages to reduce the gastrointestinal side effects asssoicated with metformin.
